‘Something has died in me’ – Lewandowski

1 min read

Robert Lewandowski says “something has died” within him at Bayern Munich, as the striker continues to push for an anticipated exit to Barcelona.

Robert Lewandowski has admitted that he is not currently interested in joining any club other than Barcelona this summer.

The Bayern Munich hitman continued his tirade against the Bundesliga champions by begging for an exit and warning players not to join the club, as he looks to convince them to sell him with 12 months left on his contract.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with Lewandowski, but it’s Barcelona who have dominated the narrative surrounding the Poland international, who has now confirmed that he has his heart set on a switch to Camp Nou.

“I have not considered any offer other than that of Barcelona,” he told Onet Sport.

Bayern have continued to stress that Lewandowski is not available this summer, vowing to keep him even if it means losing him on a free transfer in 2023, but president Herbert Hainer admitted frustration towards the striker’s decision to make his frustration public.
