Manchester United have confirmed Paul Pogba’s imminent summer departure from the club.
The French midfielder will leave Old Trafford for the second time when his contract expires at the end of June.
The France World Cup winner, 29, cost United a then-world record £89m when he re-joined the club from Juventus in 2016.
He scored 39 goals in 226 appearances during his second spell at Old Trafford.
In a statement released via their official website on Wednesday, United announced: “The club can announce that Paul Pogba will leave Manchester United at the end of June, upon the expiry of his contract.”
The club added: “Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Paul on his successful career, and thank him for his contributions to Manchester United. We wish him all the best for the next steps on a remarkable journey.”
