Robert Lewandowski claims that his Bayern Munich career is ‘over’

Robert Lewandowski has urged Bayern Munich to grant him a move away from the club, stressing that his time at the Allianz Arena is over.
The Poland international has spoken publicly about his wish to leave Bayern this summer, with Barcelona understood to be his preferred destination, but the German giants have been reluctant to let him leave while he still has one year left on his contract.
Now away with the Poland national team, Lewandowski did not hold back when asked about his future with Bayern.
“It is certain that my story with Bayern Munich is over,” he said. “After what has happened in recent months, I cannot imagine further co-operation.
“A transfer is the best solution for both parties. Bayern are a serious club and I believe that they will not stop me just because they can.”
