Manchester City are set to offer Ederson a new contract despite his current deal running until 2025, according to a report.
The Brazilian joined City from Benfica in 2017 for £35million and has been a mainstay in their backline since day one.
The 27-year-old has displayed a great combination of shot-stopping and technical ability with the ball at his feet during his time in England, often proving his worth to the team.
According to The Athletic correspondent Sam Lee, Ederson is in line for a three-year extension, keeping him at the Etihad until 2028.
The report also states that the Citizens are set to offer a number of first-team players new contracts this summer.
Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling, John Stones and Phil Foden are the names in question, which could rule Mahrez and Sterling out of a potential swap deal involving Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
