Frank Lampard has been sacked by Chelsea following a run of poor performance.
It was said ‘that tensions between Lampard and a number of individuals in his squad — particularly those who have found themselves outside his group of trusted regular starters — had been growing for some time.’
The news comes shortly after the Blues beat Luton Town convincingly to move into the next round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
