Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is reportedly confident that his club will sign both Liverpool’s Georginio Wijnaldum and Lyon’s Memphis Depay on free transfers this summer.
Wijnaldum has still not penned a new deal with Liverpool, meaning that the Netherlands international is currently free to discuss terms with foreign clubs over a move.
Memphis, meanwhile, will also see his contract at Lyon expire at the end of the start of July, and the attacker is widely expected to seek pastures new, with Barca thought to be in the driving seat.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Koeman is confident that both players will arrive at Camp Nou at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
A recent report claimed that Wijnaldum wanted to stay with Jurgen Klopp’s side but was not prepared to accept the offer currently on the table as it did not meet his salary expectations.
Memphis, who came close to moving to Barca last summer, has again been in impressive form for his French club during the current season, scoring 11 times in 19 appearances in Ligue 1.
