West Ham striker Sebastien Haller has flown over to Amsterdam as he closes in on a £23million move to Ajax.
Haller, who only joined the Premier League side 18 months ago for a club-record £45million fee, has scored just three league goals this season.
The Hammers therefore face a £22m loss on the player they signed on a five-year deal from Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2019.
The 28-year-old, who has entered the last six months of his contract, has fallen out of favour after he made it clear he wanted to leave the club.
A year ago, he was pursued by Manchester United in the January window on the final day but Bournemouth refused to enter talks. Instead, United signed Odion Ighalo.
