Riyad Mahrez admits he could return to France one day with Marseille or PSG

After a rather mixed stint with Man City, Mahrez’s future has previously been called into question.
The African does have just over three years left on his current deal, but Ligue 1 powerhouse PSG were linked with him earlier this year.
Now, those links are likely to re-emerge once again after Mahrez hinted he would be open to returning to France.
The former Le Havre standout specifically discussed PSG and whilst he did state it is not relevant because he is under contract with City and happy in Manchester, he did also say ‘you never know’:
“He’s crazy, but it’s true that I was a supporter of Marseille when I was little.
“Regarding PSG – it’s not relevant because I’m still under contract and I’m fine in Manchester, but Paris is my city. I was born and raised in Paris. You never know.
“I could have gone to play in Marseille [in 2014-15] and I can still play in Marseille.
“You never know in life, you shouldn’t close any door. I didn’t know at the time and I was fine at Leicester but they ruled that I didn’t have the required level [to play there].”
