According to Marca, Dembele he is back in the bad books.
Dembele turned up at the club’s Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper training ground at 10.15am on Monday.
That is 15 minutes after manager Ronald Koeman’s deadline.
The new boss demands all the players arrive at least an hour before the training sessions begins.
It is not the first time this season he has rocked up late since Koeman – tight on discipline and group cohesion – came in.
But his tardiness stretches back to his earlier days with Barcelona.
In 2018, the £124million man had a poor record of arriving after the scheduled meeting time, skipping a team meeting and missing a training session.
Dembele even overslept so badly Barcelona put rules in place to ensure there was no repeat – including banning his late-night video gaming and banning him from turning his phone off or putting it on silent overnight.
On one occasion after a two-hour delay, he was slapped with a £90,000 fine.
Dembele was left out of the starting XI for Barca’s 4-0 win over Villarreal on Sunday.
Ansu Fati, Philippe Coutinho and Antoine Griezmann supported Lionel Messi in attack.
Teenager Fati scored twice inside the opening 20 minutes before making way for Dembele after 70 minutes, his first competitive appearance since November due to injury.
And reports suggest Manchester United may look to pounce by signing the former Borussia Dortmund man.
With Jadon Sancho seemingly staying put in Germany and the Red Devils still wanting a winger before next week’s deadline day, a late swoop for Dembele is on the cards, according to Sky Sports.
