Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid.
Heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish capital this summer after catching the eye during his loan spell at Sevilla, Jose Mourinho’s men have won the race for his signature.
Linked with a move to Chelsea before the Blues spent big on Ben Chilwell from Leicester City, Manchester United were also mentioned regarding a potential move for the talented 23-year-old.
However, Reguilon has headed to N17 and joins for a fee of around £28million.
Real Madrid do have a buy-back clause if they so wish to lure Reguilon back to his home country, with Spurs making a healthy profit on the player if he returns to his former club.
